Wilf's boat and Kirkharle, a short coast and country loop around Northumberland. A great way to start the biking season on this 100 mile or so outing with plenty of stops.

The Maritime Museum at Newbiggin (our first stop) is putting on a special price for us. An Americano coffee or a cup of Tea plus a bacon Buttie £2.50. Or a Latte and a bacon buttie £3.50

Lucky few rideout.

A mystery rideout starting from the normal place (Seaton Burn Services) at 10:00am and lasting most of the day.

07 April Roland McLeod Associates ride out. This is open to all members.

The route is less than 100 miles and starts from Seaton Burn at the normal time of 10am, then onto Morpeth, Longhirst, Stobswood, Acklinton, Warkworth, Alnwick, Rothbury one hr for lunch, back on the road to Otterburn, Bellingham, past Sweethope, Cambo, past Bolam lake, Belsay and Finish at Dobbies Garden Centre.

Staying at the HYDRO HOTEL. Phone number 01796 472 666. POST CODE PH16 5JH.

We can’t book in until 15.00hrs. if we arrive earlier we can use the hotel facilities if we wish too.

Once in the town centre on the ATHOLL ROAD turn right up the hill past the Old Mill Inn onto the West Moulin road should still be the A924.

Turn right onto the Knockard Road. Once at the hotel park in the "cordoned off area" car park in front of the hotel.

The hotel has a swimming pool and fitness area. Evening meal is between 06.30 and 08.30.

Slow Riding Skills 5:30pm start at Heighley Gate Garden Centre

We are off into Yorkshire, heading towards Whitby.

The Ride Out morning coffee stop is the A68 Café near Tow Law.

The lunch is Thirsk which has a mixture of cafes and pubs.

Afternoon coffee stop is at Perry's Plants near Whitby.

Overall approx. 200 miles on a mixture of roads.

A Ride In

This is where we each make our own way to a meeting point where we can have lunch and a chat. We plan our own routes there and back but there is nothing stopping us from joining up with freinds and travelling together.

In this case we are meeting at 12:30 at the Jedburgh Woolen Mill, Edinburgh Road, Jedburgh TD8 6EB.
